As holiday lights begin to mirror the glow of Dublin’s canals, La Peniche invites you aboard for one of the city’s most magical seasonal experiences. This Christmas, we’re weaving together festive dining, canal views, and exclusive private hire options to make your winter celebrations truly unforgettable. Festive Dining Cruises (Up to December 23rd)

Before the Christmas rush, La Peniche’s famous dining cruises sail as normal. Each cruise features the signature three-course seasonal menu, gliding through Dublin’s historic canal route. You’ll drift beneath 18th century bridges, pass through hand-cranked locks, and savor a meal crafted with care along the way.

  • Lunch cruises depart from 1:00 pm

  • Dinner cruises depart from 5:30 pm, with flexibility for group bookings

  • Cruise time: 1 to 1½ hours, weather and scheduling permitting

  • Pricing: Lunch from €38–€45, dinner from €42–€49 per person

These cruises are ideal for seasonal dinners with family, festive friends’ nights out, or memorable office parties. Want full control? La Peniche is available for exclusive hire too — see the Exclusive Hire page for group bookings and private events.

🌟 Christmas Eve & Christmas Day | Sit-Down Celebrations

While the barge does not cruise on 24th or 25th December, we open the vessel for sit-down festive meals in a cozy, candlelit setting. It’s a rare opportunity to enjoy Christmas aboard Dublin’s most charming floating restaurant.

  • Seating times begin at 12:30 pm, 3:30 pm, and 6:30 pm

  • Christmas Eve menu: €75 per person (3 courses, bread & butter included)

  • Christmas Day menu: €98 per person (3 courses, bread & butter included)

  • A €25 deposit per person is required to book; the remaining balance is payable in cash on the day

  • No refunds or rescheduling permitted

🎁 Exclusive Hire & Larger Bookings

For groups, teams, or special gatherings, you don’t need to wait until December. La Peniche is open for exclusive hire in December (prior to the 24th) and beyond. Whether you're organizing a holiday party, birthday, work do or simply want the barge to yourself, we’ll tailor the experience for up to 60 guests.

Visit the Exclusive Hire page for more details on booking, menu options, and availability.

I liked the section outlining the step-by-step process, especially the part about selecting a subject-specific expert before submitting assignment requirements. It makes the workflow sound quite structured rather than chaotic. The article also mentioned that PhD assignments demand serious commitment and dedication to the subject, which definitely rings true. Seeing PhD Assignment Help described alongside that idea made me think about how complex doctoral writing really is. Sometimes it’s not just about writing but also about organizing ideas and citations properly. I wonder which part of the process students usually find the most difficult.

This post gave me all the festive feels! There's something incredibly magical about the idea of gliding through Dublin's canals on a candlelit barge while enjoying a beautifully crafted Christmas menu — it honestly sounds like a scene straight out of a holiday film. The Christmas Eve and Christmas Day sit-down options are such a thoughtful touch for anyone who wants to celebrate somewhere truly unique rather than the usual packed restaurant. As someone who knows how hectic the end of the year gets — especially for students scrambling to finish deadlines and searching for assignment help for UK students before the holidays — the idea of wrapping up the season with an experience like this feels like the ultimate…

I also like how the post mixes practical ideas with joyful moments because that’s exactly what makes Christmas feel special for so many people. For students or anyone using online assignment help, this article gives great real-world examples of seasonal traditions and celebrations that could be useful when writing about culture and community events. Posts like this remind us how much fun it can be to look forward to the holidays and enjoy little traditions along the way.
